I got the Titan book because I’ve been enjoying Bennett’s work, not because I think Tuvok is in it much (but that’s welcome, of course). I haven't started the Double Helix mini-series, yet, but Tuvok is not why I was interested in the series. I got The Sundered because of the Tuvok/Akaar stuff in The Red King, but the premise itself seems interesting. * Over a Torrent Sea (Titan) by Christopher L. * The First Virtue (Double Helix #6) by Michael Jan Friedman and Christie Golden * The Sundered (The Lost Era) by Michael A. I’m already planning to read the following books: * Sword of Damocles (Titan) by Geoffrey ThorneĬurrently reading (about 1/2 way through), and this is not a Tuvok focused book, so I won’t complain about that! ) I’m enjoying the Jaza stuff so far, but the Vale stuff is really highlighting a lot of what I’m finding frustrating/annoying about the Titan books. (This book was just a whole “There’s an interesting story under here somewhere, but instead we’re just going to hit the same two plots beats over and over and… zzzzzzz…”) Lack of Tuvok wasn’t the real reason I quit, but I did feel like there was a really interesting Tuvok story to tell here that was ignored.

This book was a major disappointment, and I stopped reading like 2/3 of the way through.

* Seize the Fire (Typhon Pact) by Michael A. It was obviously an ensemble (an ensemble of ensembles?) story, but I remember that Tuvok was used well. Not enough Tuvok, but I did enjoy the book!

* Orion’s Hounds (Titan) by Christopher L.

I enjoyed these two books, and Tuvok was great in them. Here are the books I have read (that have Tuvok somewhere): (I have had other frustrations with the Titan books, too.) I always felt he was underutilized on Voyager, and now I feel like he's being underutilized in the books! >:( Are there good Tuvok books? I’ve been frustrated recently with teases of Tuvok in the Titan series that don’t live up to their potential.
